I was expecting this product to be pre-sliced with plastic inserts so was a little disappointed to discover that it comes in one block. Let me tell you, eating three pounds of cheddar in one sitting is no easy task but having got via two packets of Jacobs, deep fried a slab and grated the remainder over a plate of grits or two, i can confirm that this is indeed, quite cheesey.
This really is cheese. Should you are expecting 10 yr cheddar, this isn’t aged very that long. It is really great cheese though and worth each and every cent. The cheese arrived exactly as promised. The ship date was as requested and also the product arrived in excellant condition. We will buy again following holiday season and will share our expierence with others.
I think removing the wax coating prior to it goes under the grill will most likely help following time, and improve the taste somewhat. There were no guidelines supplied as to slice the cheese if needed, thus my attempt to melt this baby on my cheeseburger was very problematic even though once it all melted after an hour or so below the grill, i agree with Craig it’s very cheesey.

This is cheese. If you are expecting 10 yr cheddar, this isn't aged quite that long. It is very good cheese though and worth every cent.
100 % satisfaction?
There were no instructions supplied as to slice the cheese if required , thus my attempt to melt this baby on my cheeseburger was quite problematic- although once it all melted after an hour or so under the grill, i agree with Craig it is very cheesey.
